American lafrance 900 series manual#
The LaFrance is powered by a Continental 608 cubic inch, straight six cylinder gas engine, mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It should be noted that the firetruck has an air horn and air brakes. The dashboard houses all of the original gauges and Motorola Communications CB radio. The interior of the cab is also original, with a driver's bucket seat and a bench seat across the rest of the cabin. The firetruck can has a 700 gallon water tank capacity and can pump up to 750gpm 150lbs of pressure.
All of the lights and sirens appear to be intact. As the pumper is mostly original, the paint is original and it shows its age. This highly original firetruck is finished in red, with white and chrome accents. This vehicle did not run when it was brought to us but has been in storage a number of years and will need new batteries, fresh gas and a minimum of the carburetors gone through. This massive pumper is the wide-cab design, 26′ long and still has a firehouse roll and additional hydrant extensions on the driver's side. "Engine 95" is being offered as is - not in running condition.
